        • When she was performing at the Super Bowl, Cee-Lo looked like some type of barbaric warlock. In other words, he looked like a fool, he always does.     • Howard came off cocky to me as well. He was good looking in his younger years but now he looks like a swollen face man old man trying to hang onto his youth with those pork pie hats. He thought he had a prize when he married Nia Peeples, they met in the studio and fell in love. After a couple of years, they couldn’t communicate. She had a son by him and then filed for divorce. He wrote Show Me for Nia.

          • Hidoll, maybe assault, I don’t know. Like on the Front page, I heard about their fights, spit flying, pointing their fingers. Howard came in the group the wrong way, he came in saying I’m the leader and Jody and Jeff had been in the group before him, yeah, he was the lead singer but not the leader of the group. Look at Kool & The Gang, JT sung lead but Kool is the leader. I heard Jody might have had financial probs at one time and still refused to go on a Shalamar reunion tour and she needed the money. Something real bad happened.

    • Hidoll, Howard changed, really changed. When he first started out, I heard he used to have a nanny and take his daughters on the road with him to give his wife a break. I heard he made it a point to come out after a show and sign autographs. What the hell happened? He rolls around down here in this huge Mercedes, he lives with his wife in a gated community. I think she is an interior designer or wedding planner, something along those lines, but it was rumors that he was caught with a groupie and they were headed for divorce, maybe it wasn’t true because they are still together.

  8. I fell in love with Chante Moore’s voice the 1st time I heard it all over El Debarge “In the Storm” CD from 1992. She sang background & co-lead. When I heard those same beautiful vocals on George Duke 1992 Snapshot I knew it had to be Chante again. By the time her 1st solo cd came I was already a fan. I have every CD Chante ever made including the last 2 on independent lables. Her music & beauty is timeless. At the recent BET awards Chante looked just as beautiful as she did back in the 90′s.

    • I remember my mom’s best friend saying Sherman Hemsley might have been. So from back in the day I too wondered if he was into women. I know some celebrities are private about there personal life but he was one I used to wonder about

Well Sherman made it first and took care of him and then they fell out and the guy was trying to get money out of Sherman. I never saw Sherman photographed with women, the only person he was photographed with was this guy.

    • Hidoll darling, hope you don’t mind if I chime in. That’s a good theory, maybe she did have a nervous breakdown and the public was never told. I know she cowrote some songs, I wonder if she gets royalties. When she was pregnant with Lauren, rumors were flying that she was Leon Sylvers or Magic Johnson’s child. Jody has never revealed the father of her daughter but the father of her son is Andre Cymone. Jody has always been very stylish and can dancer her ass off. She can shut down a dance floor. Jeffrey can also dance.

    If you watch old clips of Jody on Soul Train, her and Jeffrey had the it factor, it was only a matter of time before they got hooked up.       • I remember that about Rock Hudson/Linda Evans but that was when the monster was first heard. Rock didn’t mention he was sick with the monster until after he became really sick with it. So I understand Linda and the producers concern about having her tested no one knew Dr’s wasn’t sure how anyone could contract it

  36. Saw video today of some behind the scenes with Jay Z, Kanye (making of their album), one point in the video they are at a private residence and Beyonce is there sitting next to Jay Z . Kanye gifts Jay this black diamond ring with something engraved on it, Beyonce was saying how beautiful it was. She goes to reach for it and asks Jay ” Can I see”, he literally pushed her had away and said something like “no move” she plays it off by laughing/smiling, I thought it was rude and disrespectful what was the big deal she just wanted to look at it like a normal person.
