Kevin Ammons reveals the following in his book, “Good Girl, Bad Girl.” After I stopped hanging out with Whitney Houston’s clique, a story appeared in one of the tabloids claiming I was “Whitney Houston’s bodyguard is real-life hit man!”
The article went on to tell how I was contacted by Houston’s father to rough up Robyn Crawford. My phone started ringing and didn’t stop for the next two weeks. Everybody wanted to interview the hit man.
I appeared on “American Journal,” to tell my side of the story and to set the record straight. After the show aired, Robyn called and told me I shouldn’t be talking to the media. “It will just open up another can of worms. We all need to keep a low profile.”
For the next few weeks I received nightly calls with someone warning me to “keep my fucking mouth shut about the Houston’s or you’re going to end up very dead!” It was terrifying to be awakened from a sound sleep to hear someone threatening to kill me or break my arms and legs.
I was still in touch with Whitney’s brother Michael and I would often get together with him for a night on the town. He and his stepbrother Gary had been in and out of a dozen rehab centers but every time I saw them, they were still doing drugs.
As we sat passing a joint between us, I asked how the marriage was going between Whitney and Bobby. Michael said, “Huh! I had to knock Bobby on his ass the other day. He slapped Whitney so I popped him one-knocked his ass out cold!”
