Prince is the highest paid artist to perform in concert. He was paid $21 million dollars last year to perform 21 shows in Europe ($1 million per show) and reports circulated weeks ago that he will be paid $4.8 million for one performance at Coachella Valley Music Festival which started in April. In Related News: Prince steadfastly refuses to lip-synch in concert like the majority of artists, he insists on giving his fans a live show.

We've heard of airline vouchers, where a family member or friend who's employed at the airlines can give or sell you a voucher where you only pay the tax-on a airline ticket or a small fee.

We've also heard of record companies buying up artist CD's, to boost first week sales.

Now, we have celebrity concert vouchers. When Al Green recently performed with Gladys Knight and Dennis Edwards & The Temptations in Northern California, due to slow ticket sales, 1,000 vouchers were given to venue employees to give to family or friends. Concert goers only had to pay $6 dollars for each ticket at will call.

Celebrities often do this to fill the seats so the next day review won't read they performed to a half-filled house or empty house, others do it for ego purposes. But, it has become a popular practice.

I wouldn't be surprised if Janet Jackson's recent tour used vouchers to fill the seats in some of the arenas she's performing at because Jackson's last three albums tanked and she's not touring on the strength of a hit single.

The Main Ingredient had three massive hits, "Everybody Plays The Fool," "I Just Don't Want To Be Lonely," and "Rolling Down A Mountainside," in the 70's. Everyone knows that Cuba Gooding, Sr. (father of Cuba, Jr.) was the lead singer. But few people know that Donald McPherson was the original lead singer.

Tragedy struck in 1971: McPherson, who had suddenly taken ill with leukemia, died unexpectedly. Stunned, group members Tony Silvester and Luther Simmons regrouped with new lead singer Cuba Gooding, Sr., who had served as a backing vocalist on some of their previous recordings and had filled in on tour during McPherson's brief illness.

Tony Silvester (2nd photo) was the son of Panama's then president, Florencio Arosemena. After Silvester left the group, he had a successful career as a producer and produced tracks for: Donny Hathaway, early Prince, Herbie Hancock, Luther Vandross and Rick James.

Silvester died after a six-year struggle with multiple myeloma on November 27, 2006, at the age of 65.

Luther Simmons left the group to pursue a career in finance and became a successful stockbroker.

Actor Canada Lee (1st photo) was an outstanding actor, in the category of Sidney Poitier and Denzel Washington. He was one of the most respected black actors of the 1940's and a passionate civil rights activist.

Lee was born in Harlem in 1907. He was a renaissance man like his idol Paul Robeson. He was a musical prodigy on violin and piano, he made his concert debut at New York's prestigious Aeolian Hall at 11. By 13, he had become a successful jockey; in his teens, a pro boxer, and in his 20's, a leading contender for the national welterweight title, until an unlucky blow to the the head cost him his sight in one eye and ended his fighting career.

He turned to acting. He was a natural and his most famous film was Alfred Hitchcock's "Lifeboat," in 1944. Lee also gave a memorable performance in "Body & Soul."

In 1946, Lee produced "On Whitman Ave," becoming the first African-American to produce a play on Broadway.

Lee experienced a meteoric fall from grace when Joseph McCarthy labeled him a communist. His longtime friend Ed Sullivan also denounced him in his nationally syndicated column.

A few of Lee's black friends also turned on him because he fought passionately for civil rights but was carrying on an public relationship with a White/Jewish woman named Frances Pollack. He was labeled a hypocrite. Racism from both sides ended this interracial romance.

In 1949, the FBI offered to clear Lee’s name if he would publicly call Paul Robeson a Communist. Lee refused and responded by saying, “All you’re trying to do is split my race.”

In 1952, Canada Lee, 45, died penniless.

Lee’s chronic high blood pressure led to kidney failure, and he died of an excruciating blood poisoning known as uremia.

Jesse Binga’s pioneering ventures in banking and real estate made him a nationally known figure of black business achievement in the early 20th Century. A native of Detroit, he moved to Chicago in the early 1890s. Buying a succession of run-down buildings, he repaired them as rentals. White-owned banks refused to lend to African-Americans, inspiring Binga to establish his own bank in 1908 at the southeast corner of State and 36th Streets.

Thousands of African-Americans opened accounts, and the Binga Bank prospered. It attained a state charter in 1921, and eventually occupied imposing buildings at the northwest corner of State and 35th Streets. With the success of his businesses, Binga purchased a home at 5922 South Park Avenue (now King Drive), in what was then an exclusively white neighborhood. Though the house was bombed five times by disgruntled neighbors, Binga and his family remained steadfast. In 1929, he built the grand Binga Arcade, with offices, shops and a dance floor, at 35th and State Streets.

The Great Depression of the 1930s as well as racism and jealousy led to the failure of Binga’s businesses.

Accused (same say falsely) and convicted of financial irregularities, Binga began serving a ten-year jail sentence in 1935. Three years later, the petitions of appreciative Bronzeville residents and famed attorney Clarence Darrow secured his release.

Binga’s last years were spent as a janitor and handyman at St. Anselm’s Church.

This little-known and compelling true story was brought to the small screen ten years ago and Louis Gossett, Jr. played the title role. This is a riveting story of betrayal that took place in Canada in the 1800’s.

Slavery was still prevalent in the United States but not in Canada. James Mink was the son of a freed American slave. Mink relocated to Canada to get away from racism and the horrors of slavery.

In the 1850’s, he would establish himself as a prosperous (millionaire) Livery owner and a budding politician. Mink also owned stables and the City Council used Mink’s livery stables for its horses, while his stagecoach service carried passengers as well as mail between Toronto and Kingston until the 1860’s.

Mink married a white woman named Elizabeth and she gave birth to a daughter named Mary.

Mink didn't want his daughter to marry a black man and he feared she was unmarriageable because she was of mixed race. Against Mary’s protests, Mink advertises a huge dowry and eventually finds her a suitable match in William Johnson, a white horse dealer and charming suitor.

Over time, Mary grows to like him and the two get married and head off to Niagara Falls. When they arrive in Niagara Falls, they check into a hotel and Johnson violently rapes Mary.

The next morning, a grinning Johnson reveals himself to be "not" a horse dealer but a slave trader.

He whisked Mary off against her will to Richmond, Virginia to put her on the auction block, where she is purchased by a plantation owner. When Mary tries to tell the plantation owner that she was tricked into slavery and raped the night before, he laughs in her face and asks? Gal, how did you learn to speak so proper?

On their way to the plantation, Mary is shocked at the mistreatment of blacks. She had been so sheltered and pampered throughout her life, she was unaware of what was going on in the real world.

Distraught, beaten and forced to work for the first time in her life, Mary meets a black man by the name of Elroy on the plantation. They become close and Mary teaches him and his mother how to read and write.

She also writes a letter and asks Elroy to distract the postman while she slips the letter in his bag.

The next day, Elroy distracted the postman and Mary slipped the letter in the bag.

A week later, the Minks’ receive the letter and are outraged that their daughter has been sold into slavery. Mary includes the name of the plantation and the address in the letter. The Minks’ make plans to rescue her. They devise a plan where they will pose as owner and slave.

A week later they arrive at the plantation with Mrs. Mink posing as a slave trader. James is housed with the other slaves during their visit.

An escape plan is hatched, when the time comes to escape, James doesn’t want Elroy to come with them until Mary says she want leave the plantation without him, James relents and they escape into the night.

They arrive back in Canada. It takes awhile for Mary to get over the ordeal but with Elroy’s help, she recovers.

Despite Elroy’s help, James still doesn’t want Mary to marry a black man, but he's overruled by his wife, and the two eventually exchange vows.

The body of Teresita Basa (1st photo) was found by police in her Chicago apartment on February 21, 1977. The 48-year old Filipino immigrant was dead -- stabbed to death and partially burned. She hadn't shown up for work at the Edgewater Hospital, leading police to find her murdered body, but they had no clues at all as to who the murderer might be. There was no evidence, no motive to work from.

Then a lead came from an astonishing source: Teresita's ghost! Dr. Jose Chua and his wife worked at the same hospital, although they did not know Teresita very well. One night while at home, Mrs. Chua suddenly fell into a strange trance. Speaking in a Philippine language, she said, "I am Teresita Basa..." and then named the man who murdered her: an orderly at the hospital named Allen Showery (2nd photo). The Chuas didn't know what to make of these trances, which reoccurred for several days.

Finally, Dr. Chua felt compelled to call the police and tell them the strange story. Naturally, the detectives were highly skeptical of the Chua's claims, even though Mrs. Chua seemed able to relate specific details about the crime, including the allegation that her jewelry was also stolen, and that Showery had given her pearl cocktail ring to his girlfriend. With no other leads to go on, the detectives investigated Showery.

Sure enough, Teresita's jewelry was found in his apartment; her pearl ring was found in the possession of his girlfriend -- just as Teresita's ghost had said. Showery confessed to the crimes and was convicted.

Barbara Piotrowski was 24 years old. She had the body and looks of a blonde movie star and finely chiseled features. She had won several beauty contests and had been a part-time model since the age of 16.

No dumb blonde, Barbara received straight A's in school. The day she met millionaire Dick Minns on the ski slopes, she was taking pre-med courses at night. From the time she was little more than a child she had wanted to be a medical doctor. When they met in 1977, Dick was 48-years-old. On that fateful January day, he told Barbara he owned a chain of health clubs in Texas and made his headquarters in Houston. He was a health nut and it showed. Dick Minns had the body of a Greek god.

Barbara was impressed, if a little dubious, about her new friend's financial status. By the time their stay in Aspen was over, the pair agreed to exchange telephone numbers. Barbara returned to California and her studies at UCLA; Dick to Texas and his health clubs.

Within a few weeks, Dick was on the phone imploring Barbara to join him in Aspen that March. Initially, she resisted the invitation, but gradually gave in. At Aspen the pair were inseparable. They soon became lovers. Both were totally intrigued, one with the other.

Dick coaxed Barbara to move to Houston and live with him. She could continue her medical studies there. He claimed he couldn't live without her. For her part, Barbara had never met anyone quite like Dick Minns. He was the answer to every woman's dream. She moved to Houston.

What Dick neglected to tell Barbara was that he was married - well married for the past 25 years - and the proud father of three children. His daughter was older than Barbara. Wife Mimi was an active partner in his health club business.

Richard Minns was worth several million dollars. He called his luxurious health spas Presidents Club.

Later he would pioneer women's health clubs which he christened First Lady. At the zenith of his business success, Dick owned 32 clubs throughout the U.S. and employed over 1,000 people. He and Mimi were millionaire celebrities in a city of millionaire celebrities.

Dick let Barbara know he had been married and introduced her to his children. He had the gall to tell her he was divorced. Somehow he managed to spend two or three nights a week with Barbara. Friends were amazed at the open affair he carried on. For some time, neither Mimi nor Barbara knew of the other's existence.

That summer Mimi found out about Barbara. Within weeks, she informed Dick she would be seeking a divorce. For financial reasons, he implored her to stay married to him. They could come to some sort of arrangement short of divorce. Mimi eventually obtained her divorce and walked away with over $ 5 million as her cut of the business.

Dick expressed undying love, but constantly delayed marrying Barbara. He felt quite content to live with her. Sometimes the couple had heated arguments. According to Barbara, Dick struck her on a couple of occasions. Finally, she couldn't take it anymore. She moved out, taking the contents of the townhouse with her. That was a big mistake.

When Dick came home to the empty townhouse, he was livid. He immediately had Barbara charged with the theft of their furniture. It had been three years since the blonde beauty had moved to Texas to be with her handsome millionaire lover. Now he was charging her with theft.

Away from Dick, she taught aerobics classes to support herself and continued her studies at the University of Houston. She also instituted "common law" proceedings against Dick, claiming some portion of his assets, while he continued to press the theft charges against her. Always, in the back of her mind was the thought that Dick would punish her for leaving him.

On Oct. 20, 1980, Barbara pulled into the parking lot of a doughnut shop. She made her purchase and returned to her red Firebird. A man leaned into the vehicle's open window, brandishing a revolver. She turned away, attempting to duck. The man shot four times. All four slugs tore into Barbara's back.

By sheer chance, two officers were driving by in their patrol car. One actually witnessed the shooting. They saw the gunman jump into a Cadillac driven by a second man. The officers gave chase and at the same time radioed for an ambulance. After a short chase, the Caddy crashed into a pole. The two men ran away on foot. Hitmen Patrick Steen and Nathaniel Ivery were apprehended while hiding in a nearby field.

Meanwhile, Barbara was undergoing emergency surgery, which saved her life. Two of the bullets had severed her spinal cord. She had no feeling from the waist down and was told she would never walk again. She would be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life.

Steen and Ivery told detectives they had been hired by a man calling himself Bob Anderson to kill or paralyze Barbara Piotrowski. They had no idea why she was to be assassinated. Anderson had provided them with the Cadillac. Both men were convicted to 35 year sentences.

Dick Minns has never been criminally charged with the shooting. He has continually failed to appear in court, but is represented by high-priced lawyers. It is believed that he has divested himself of all his U.S. holdings and now lives abroad.

We reported on the tragic life of white actress Barbara Payton a few months ago but what few people know the following information which is conveniently not included in any of her online biographies nor a book based on her life.

The words "notorious," "infamous," and "flamboyant" have all been used to describe Hollywood beauty Barbara Payton. A Warner Bros. contract player.

Not only did Barbara Payton date two billionaires, Howard Hughes and Texas oilman Bob Neal. She also dated Marlon Brando, Gary Cooper, James Cagney, Gregory Peck, Dennis Hopper and she allegedly had a bisexual fling with actress Ava Gardner.

Despite numerous relationships, it's omitted from Payton's life story that she had a very discreet relationship with black actor/athlete Willie Strode (pictured above)-Woody Strode and Jackie Robinson starred on the 1939 UCLA Bruins football team.

When the interracial rumors surfaced, Barbara allegedly made the statement, 'So what if I am seeing Woody, I love black people and you can quote me!"

Shortly after making this statement, her roles dried up and she was blackballed from the industry. From 1955 to 1963, there were several skirmishes with the law-passing bad checks, public drunkenness, mental illness, drug abuse, and, ultimately, prostitution.

Hollywood destroyed Barbara Payton. Near the end, she became a $2 dollar trick.

In 1967, after failed efforts to curb her drinking, she moved in with her parents in San Diego in an attempt to dry out. On May 8, 1967, Payton died at her parents' home; the cause of death was heart and liver failure.

Most people who are interested in UFOs will know about the Roswell Incident, in which an alien spacecraft allegedly crashed in New Mexico in 1947. But there have been many other well-documented cases of alleged UFO crashes, and one of these cases is known as the Berwy Mountains UFO crash, which took place in Wales in January 1974.

At 8.30 PM on 23 January, 1974, a large disc-like craft was seen to fall from the skies over Clwyd in Wales. Dozens of witnesses across Lancashire and Cheshire had phoned the police earlier that evening after seeing a strange formation of green lights flying erratically over the skies of the north-west. At exactly 8.38 PM, something impacted into the Berwyn Mountains in Clwyd, and the resulting tremor-which measured 4.5 on the Richter Scale - was felt in Wrexham, Chester, Liverpool, Southport, and even in some areas of Greater Manchester.

Police immediately converged on the Berwyn Mountains, expecting to find a crashed passenger jet, but just what they did find has never been divulged. A convoy of army trucks passed through Chester that night and made their way to the epicentre of the crash site, then the army cordoned off the area. Even the police and crash investigators were warned off. A nurse who lived near the scene of the impact told a local newspaper that a flying saucer 'the size of the Albert Hall' had smashed into a mountain, throwing debris and bodies for over a mile. She said she walked up to one of the bodies, and realized it wasn't human, but before she could describe what she had seen, the military intervened, and two Ministry of Defense officials ordered her to remain silent about the UFO because her comments 'would constitute a threat to national security and the defense of the realm'.

That nurse has never been seen in the area since, and the news reporter who visited the scene of the alleged crash refused to talk about the incident up until his death in 1979.

In 1980, an electronics engineer named Arthur Adams, who had worked on Concorde, visited the Berwyn UFO crash-site and found strange green colored pieces of metal embedded in the rocks there. He took samples of the metal to his laboratory and discovered that a sample the size of a 1-inch cube gave off two kilowatts of electricity, when wired up to a volt meter. Mr Adams contacted the Daily Express, and they published a series of articles about the strange find, but the Ministry of Defense stepped in and killed the story.

Today, no one knows what crashed in the Welsh Mountains on that winter night in 1974; some think it was an experimental man-made top secret military aircraft (possibly a prototype Stealth bomber), others think it was an alien craft from another world. If so, what happened to the bodies that were seen scattered all over the mountain after the crash? This case is a real life X File.

In December, 1932, a down and out Hungarian named Reszo Seress was trying to make a living as a songwriter in Paris, but kept failing miserably. All of his compositions failed to impress the music publishers of France, but Seress carried on chasing his dream nevertheless. He was determined to become an internationally famous songwriter. His girlfriend had constant rows with him over the insecurity of his ambitious life. She urged him to get a full-time 9 to 5 job, but Seress was uncompromising. He told her he was to be a songwriter or a hobo, and that was that.
One afternoon, things finally came to a head. Seress and his fiancee had a fierce row over his utter failure as a composer, and the couple parted with angry words.

On the day after the row - which happened to be a Sunday - Seress sat at the piano in his apartment, gazing morosely through the window at the Parisian skyline. Outside, storm-clouds gathered in the grey sky, and soon the heavy rain began to pelt down.

"What a gloomy Sunday." Seress said to himself as he played about on the piano's ivories, and quite suddenly, his hands began to play a strange melancholy melody that seemed to encapsulate the downhearted way he was feeling over his quarrel with his girl and the state of the dispiriting weather.

"Yes. Gloomy Sunday. That will be the title of my new song." muttered Seress, excitedly, and he grabbed a pencil and wrote the notes down on an old postcard. Thirty minutes later he had completed the song.

Seress sent his composition off to a music publisher and waited for acceptance with a lot more hope than he usually had in his heart. A few days later, the song-sheet was returned with a rejection note stapled to it that stated: "Gloomy Sunday has a weird but highly depressing melody and rhythm, and we are sorry to say that we cannot use it."

The song was sent off again to another publisher, and this time it was accepted. The music publisher told Seress that his song would soon be distributed to all the major cities of the world. The young Hungarian was ecstatic.

But a few months after Gloomy Sunday was printed, there were a spate of strange occurrences that were allegedly sparked off by the new song. In Berlin, a young man requested a band to play Gloomy Sunday, and after the number was performed, the man went home and blasted himself in the head with a revolver after complaining to relatives that he felt severely depressed by the melody of a new song which he couldn't get out of his head. That song was Gloomy Sunday.

A week later in the same city, a young female shop assistant was found hanging from a rope in her flat. Police who investigated the suicide found a copy of the sheet-music to Gloomy Sunday in the dead girl's bedroom.

Two days after that tragedy, a young secretary in New York gassed herself, and in a suicide note she requested Gloomy Sunday to be played at her funeral. Weeks later, another New Yorker, aged 82, jumped to his death from the window of his seventh-storey apartment after playing the 'deadly' song on his piano. Around the same time, a teenager in Rome who had heard the unlucky tune jumped off a bridge to his death.

The newspapers of the world were quick to report other deaths associated with Seress's song. One newspaper covered the case of a woman in North London who had been playing a 78 recording of Gloomy Sunday at full volume, infuriating and frightening her neighbours, who had read of the fatalities supposedly caused by the tune. The stylus finally became trapped in a groove, and the same piece of the song played over and over. The neighbours hammered on the woman's door but there was no answer, so they forced the door open - only to find the woman dead in her chair from an overdose of barbiturates.

As the months went by, a steady stream of bizarre and disturbing deaths that were alleged to be connected to Gloomy Sunday persuaded the chiefs at the BBC to ban the seemingly accursed song from the airwaves.

Back in France, Reszo Seress, the man who had composed the controversial song, was also to experience the adverse effects of his creation. He wrote to his ex-fiancee, pleading for a reconciliation. But several days later came the most awful, shocking news. Seress learned from the police that his sweetheart had poisoned herself. And by her side, a copy of the sheet music to Gloomy Sunday was found.

At the end of the 1930s, when the world was plunged into the war against Hitler, Seress's inauspicious song was quickly forgotten in the global turmoil.

In the February 2009 issue of Essence magazine (with Tyler Perry on the cover) they have an article inside, titled: "Capital Offense."

Here's an excerpt: The District of Columbia has the highest rate of AIDS in America. Higher, even, than some countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Among those hardest hit have been Black women, who account for nine out of ten new HIV+ infected females.

Some estimates indicate that one black woman is infected every 8 hours (3 women per day) in the District of Columbia and surrounding areas. Black woman account for 90 percent of new cases.

Wilhemina Olley 47, above, is the picture of good health. One winter, her life changed. She recalls, "I caught a bug, and I just couldn't get rid of it." Olley eventually went to the doctor, her blood work came back with irregularities. Three days later, she learned she just wasn't dealing with a cold, she was HIV-positive.

She had been with the same man for 19 years, 11 of those married. Olley had but one thought: Her man's history of past drug abuse was the reason she'd become infected but when her husband's test results came back negative she was forced to take stock of her own complicated sexual history. While in her twenties, before she and her husband were married, she strayed outside the relationship. "Sometimes I used condoms, but a lot of times I didn't."

Despite having unprotected sex with her husband for 19 years (before she tested positive) her husband yet to contract the disease from her.

Olley said she was naive regarding condoms because she didn't think anything bad would happen to her.

According to health officials, this kind of thinking is all too familiar to workers at clinics across the district.

On the night Marilyn Monroe died, an ambulance attendant said, "As me and my partner were about to place Marilyn in the ambulance, an "unidentified" male individual came towards us, he then injected Marilyn into the heart, claiming he was a doctor." The attendant later said that whoever it was counted down her ribs like a pre-med student in order to find the right spot." The man was never seen again and authorities had no luck tracking him down as a doctor in Los Angeles.

It's been suppressed but Marilyn Monroe was allegedly bi-sexual on a sporadic basis and she allegedly experimented with love techniques on her girlfriends before trying them on men.

After Marilyn told her friends she planned to hold a press conference to reveal the "high powered" father of her aborted fetus, mob boss Sam Giancana was quoted as saying, "This is one dangerous dame."

According to author John Austin (Hollywood's Unsolved Mysteries) Giancana asked gangster Johnny Roselli to supervise the assassination/liquidation of Marilyn Monroe. Austin adds, "Three mob hit men were involved."

The night Marilyn's body was found, her diary (containing her secrets and affairs) was checked into evidence. The very next day, not only had the diary disappeared from the office, but its very existence had been erased from the inventory.

Austin says, "The diary was retrieved, sent to Washington and destroyed."

Competition for the role was fierce and it came down to Gene Ray and Fred “Rerun” Berry who desperately needed the $20,000 per week salary ‘Fame’ offered. Gene Anthony Ray would emerge victorious.

Baker may have been the most elegant, sensational and glamorous black female entertainer in history. She was once the richest black woman in the world at her peak and she would arrive in her dressing room accompanied by trained cheetahs on jewel leashes. The animals were well trained.

Baker was also an unconventional woman who took up golfing in the 1930's. At that time, she was the only African-American woman in the world to play on European golf courses.

A young Billie Holiday was touring with Artie Shaw and his band. At their first date below the Mason-Dixon line, a member of the audience, 'a redneck who was not enjoying the show,' in Shaw's words, called out, "Have the ni**ger wench sing another song." Billie's eyes met his and she stared him down from the stage, she then said, 'You White motherfucker.' Their was a surge towards the stage, almost a riot, as a white mob tried to get at Holiday. Band members had to smuggle her out of the theater.

Lipstick lesbian supermodel Gia Carangi, (1st photo) portrayed by Angelina Jolie in the film "Gia," was one of the first women to die of AIDS due to intravenous drug use.

What few people know and what wasn't shown in the movie: Gia was so strung out on heroin, she often shot up before walking the runway. On a few occasions, blood could be seen dripping from her arm while she pranced the runway.

Also, after being diagnosed with AIDS, Gia's menstruation would last 4-6 weeks (each cycle). Due to this complication and other AIDS factors, she bled to death.

Despite dying in 1986, 22 years ago, none of Gia's numerous female lovers have ever tested positive for HIV.

For years, rumors circulated about an affair between black actress Fredi Washington (2nd photo) and Duke Ellington. Washington achieved fame starring in the 1934 original, "Imitation Of Life," alongside White actress Claudette Colbert.

Ellington became the love of her life. Drawn to his looks and intelligence, his talent and sophistication, as he no doubt was attracted to the same characteristics in her, Washington had a discreet but passionate affair with him.

Yet, Washington hopes that he would leave his wife never materialized. "I just had to accept he wasn't going to marry me," she said. "But I wasn't going to be his mistress."

At one point, she left the country to get over Ellington. She got on a boat and went to Paris to nurse her heartache. When she returned, Duke had taken up with a friend of hers.

Marvelyn Brown, a former top track and basketball star, was young, beautiful, in the best shape of her life, and in love. On one fateful day, when a sudden illness landed her in intensive care, a battery of tests revealed that the then 19-year-old had acquired the HIV/AIDS virus.

Now as a 24-year-old, Brown's new memoir, ''The Naked Truth: Young, Beautiful, and (HIV) Positive' (Amistad/HarperCollins, August 2008) reveals her intimate journey living with HIV/AIDS and learning to use her voice to educate and empower others from making the same choices which led to her diagnosis.

I was 19 years old, a normal teenager who'd met a guy that I really liked. We had unprotected sex. It only took one time, one impulsive moment, and my life was forever changed. Rather than looking forward to what should have been the "hey day" of my twenties, I was given a death sentence. Suddenly, many of the people I loved and who'd cared about me were afraid to touch me, hug me, kiss me. Many refused to believe I was HIV positive, so the topic was avoided altogether. To be able to look in the mirror and state the truth, what is fact, that I am HIV positive, was a major step for me. It's also the moment when I realized that I do not live with HIV, rather HIV lives with me. And no matter how negatively the world views this virus, I will always love myself, no matter what.

One of my chief concerns is that HIV-positive people may not pick up the book because they are fearful their own HIV status will be revealed by merely purchasing or reading the book. I also fear that HIV-negative people may look at the book and feel sorry for me. Or worst, not read the book at all because they feel HIV is not an issue for them. Might I add, a feeling I likely shared before being diagnosed with HIV. The reality that I pray 'The Naked Truth' brings to light is that HIV is everyone's problem-it is a human disease.

Despite all of the stigma and ignorance surrounding HIV/AIDS, I finally quit living my life for everyone else and started living it for me. 'The Naked Truth' is about my journey of finding self-love, self-worth and self-acceptance despite this devastating virus.

Titan-haired Rita Hayworth who immortalized herself in the 1956 film "Gilda," allegedly lost her virginity to her father, Eduardo Cansino.

Hayworth was such a ravishing beauty that her World War II pinup photo was pasted on the first atomic bomb (by GI's) to hit Hiroshima in 1945.

Hayworth was also victimized by her first husband, Edward Judson, who pimped her out to men to further her career.

Sadly, Hayworth was diagnosed with Alzheimer's before her death. She said she first realized something was wrong when she got out of an elevator and couldn't remember which way to go.

Underrated actor Steve McQueen may have been the most powerful leading man in history. Before his death, you had to pay him a non-refundable fee of $1 million dollars just to read a script known as a "consideration fee." If he decided not to do the film, he still got to keep the money.

If a screenwriter has writers block during a rewrite on the set of a movie and decides to fly in an Academy Award winning or nominated writer (via private jet) to complete the rewrite or to write a suitable ending. Due to the Academy Award credentials alone, the rewriter is paid a staggering $275,000 in advance. Just being nominated and not winning an Academy Award can jack your fees up to six figures.

Clark Gable's wife Carol Lombard heard whispers that Gable was carrying on an affair on the set of his film. With her mother in tow, she decided to cut a hometown trip short. Just as she was boarding the flight, she stopped in her tracks when she saw the numbers on the plane. Lombard was into numerology and those number spelled disaster. Despite her misgivings, she boarded the plane. The plane would crash killing all 22 passengers. Clark Gable would always blame himself for her death.

Funicello won success in the beach blanket movies with Frankie Avalon and she started off on Disney. In March 1830, a young woman applied for the job of maid-servant at a house in Islington Square, Liverpool, England. Her application was accepted, for although she was dressed rather shabbily, the girl had a honest and likeable face. Her name was Hannah Brade.

Hannah's employer-a widowed woman who lived with her only daughter and young son - initially assumed that the girl was from the 'lower' classes, but on many occasions during the maid-servant's two years of service in the household, the widow was intrigued by Hannah's behaviour.

Whenever strangers visited the house, Hannah would become very nervous for some reason, and seemed to be dreading the arrival of someone she didn't want to meet. It seemed that as soon as the maid saw that the visitors were no threat and did not recognise her for who she really was, she would go about her business with regained confidence.

Sometimes the mask slipped. One day when the widow and her children returned home from a day out earlier than expected, and they were intrigued to hear the euphonious notes of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata emanating from the house. It turned out to be Hannah, sitting at the piano in the drawing room. When she suddenly noticed the widow and her children looking on in amazement, Hannah stopped playing and started dusting the ivories, red with embarrassment. When questioned about her musical talent, Hannah skilfully steered the conversation away from the question.

The mysterious maid also refused to reveal how she had acquired her knowledge of medicine when she successfully treated the widow's son when he went down with a serious fever. Within days he made a full recovery. The family doctor, who had told the widow to expect the worst outcome for her sick son, was baffled at the boy's return to health, and was most curious to learn the ingredients of Hannah's top-secret remedy.

On another occasion, the widow's daughter found Hannah's exquisitely-executed pencil sketch of a rustic cottage crumpled up in a bin. There was no end to the girl's achievements. Another accomplishment was Hannah's command of several foreign languages. One day at a market in the town, a German was asking for directions in broken English, and Hannah, thinking her employer was out of earshot, began to converse fluently with the German in his native tongue. Hannah was also heard to sing in French one morning while she made breakfast.

Hannah soon became the talk of the town. Who was she? Who was she hiding from? She was obviously from a high-class home; how else could she have acquired such a comprehensive education? Was she hiding from justice because she'd committed a crime? There were so many questions, but alas, no one ever got to find out.

One morning, the widow was sad to find that Hannah had packed and left the household. Everyone the girl had come into contact with missed her tremendously, especially the widow's children, who were literally heartbroken by the maid's departure.

Then two months later, a package arrived at the widow's home containing a number of expensive gifts. They were from Hannah.

But no one ever heard of Hannah Brade again. The questions remain; who was she? Why did she adopt the disguise of a maid-servant? Was she merely a young woman from the upper echelons of society, sampling the life of the working class? To spend two years seeing how the other half lives would be some feat of stoical endurance to a young girl accustomed to the luxuries of the well-to-do.

We'll probably never know why a beautiful and educated young woman had to hide behind the apron of a maid-servant.

CHICAGO (AP) -- Scientists have pinpointed what is believed to be the earliest known case of AIDS -- an African man who died in 1959 -- and say the discovery suggests the virus first infected people in the 1940s or early '50s.

Until now, the earliest, undisputed cases of AIDS were from the late 1950's and 1960s and involved a sailor from Manchester named David Carr who was thought to have been the first person to die from AIDS. 60 Minutes did a segment on Carr in the 80's.

Carr succumbed to an exotic AIDS-like illness in Britain in 1959 after spending time in West Africa and a posthumous analysis of his tissue revealed traces of HIV. However the results of this study were overturned in 1995 by a US medical team that concluded that David Carr had actually not been HIV-positive. One of the original researchers subsequently admitted that his samples had probably been contaminated.

There was also a case in the 60's involving members of a family in Norway.

This means the first definite identification of HIV comes from a blood sample taken in 1959 from a patient in Kinshasa (first paragraph), then the capital of the Belgian Congo.

You rarely hear about black outlaws in the old west on par with Jesse James, Pretty Boy Floyd and Billy The Kid but Bob Brewer was in their category. History excluded him because of his race, this is a small portion of his story!

On December 27, 1889, the New York Times headlines read: "Negro Bandits in Savannah, Georgia!" "A White Posse In Pursuit Of Black Outlaws. The Killing Of Two White Men By Bob Brewer Causes Intense Excitement!"

The trouble began when Chief Marshal Leggett and other deputies tried to arrest Bob Brewer (no photo available), the notorious negro outlaw and fugitive.

Brewer was a bank robber and gambler and sometimes shared his money with the less fortunate. When the deputies approached, Brewer raised his gun and shot down Marshal Barnhill.

Brewer also shot Marshal Leggett in both legs. Brewer and his crew of 12 Negro men fled after the shootings into the McMillian swamp. The white posse followed and Brewer took out another man with a head shot.

News spread throughout town and whites retaliated by going to the jail house and opening fire, killing two black prisoners. They also forced blacks out of their homes and another posse went to Brewer's mother's nearby home, to lie in wait, in case he showed up.

Whites made it known, if Brewer was captured with his men, hiding out in the swamps, it would be a mass lynching the following day.

Unfortunately, we don't know the outcome of this story. This is the only information we were able to find on Bob Brewer.

Edwin Booth was John Wilkes Booth's brother. Unlike John Wilkes, Edwin supported the Union. This was one reason that the two were not very close during the Civil War. Like John Wilkes, however, Edwin was an actor. In fact, Edwin was the better known of the two and one of the most famous actors in the country at the time of the assassination. Robert Todd Lincoln was the eldest of Abraham and Mary Lincoln's four sons. In 1861, he was a 17 year old student at Harvard where he stayed for most of the war. It was not until 1865 that he joined General Grant's staff as a captain. Fate brought Edwin Booth and Robert Todd Lincoln together in 1863 or 1864 in Jersey City, New Jersey where both men were waiting for a train.

Robert was on holiday from school and on his way from New York to Washington. Edwin was traveling to Richmond, Virginia with John Ford (the owner of Ford's Theatre where President Lincoln was later assassinated). The event occurred late one night when Robert was purchasing tickets from the conductor. The conductor stood on the station platform near the train, and it so happened that Robert was accidentally pushed towards the train by the crowd. Just then, the train began to move and Robert lost his balance. That caused him to fall into the space between the train and the station platform. If it had not been for Edwin Booth, who grabbed Robert by the collar and pulled him back onto the platform, Robert probably would have fallen onto the tracks and would have been seriously injured or even killed by the oncoming train.

Robert recognized Edwin right away, thanked him for his quick action and introduced himself. Both men apparently realized the significance of Edwin's actions because they both spoke and wrote about it several times during the rest of their lives, especially after Edwin's brother murdered Robert's father. Edwin was crushed by the assassination, but his one comfort was knowing that he personally had once saved the life of a Lincoln. Although the two never met again, Robert often spoke about his gratitude to Edwin and how he wished him well.

Anneliese Michel (September 21, 1952 – July 1, 1976) was a German Catholic woman (1st photo) who was said to be possessed by demons and subsequently underwent an exorcism. Three motion pictures, "The Exorcism of Emily Rose," "The Exorcist," and "Requiem," are loosely based on Anneliese's story.

Anneliese experienced what is recognized by medical professionals as severe psychiatric disturbances from the age of 16 to her death, at age 23, as a direct or indirect result of an exorcism ritual.

Both priests who performed the exorcism and Anneliese's parents were convicted of negligent homicide. The Catholic Church, which had authorized the exorcism, reversed its position and declared Anneliese Michel a case of mental illness. Many people believe she was genuinely possessed by demons, and her gravesite is a destination for pilgrims to this day.

While others may view the stories about Warren G. Harding's black ancestry as rumor, Marsha Stewart sees it as fact.

Mrs. Stewart, a 60-year-old black woman who teaches at a high school in suburban Detroit, is a fifth cousin to the 29th president, according to her family history.
When I grew up in the '50s, my grandparents (above) said it's OK to talk about it in the family setting but it's not OK to talk about it outside of the family settings," Mrs. Stewart said.

Her 2005 book, "Warren Harding U.S. President 29: Death By Blackness," details her family connection to Harding.

"He was my great-grandmother's first cousin," Mrs. Stewart said. Adding that her great-grandmother, Mary Harding Norman, and Warren Harding's father, George Tryon Harding, were first cousins.

She traces their common ancestors back to the black settlers of Isabella, Montcalm and Mecosta counties in central Michigan. Warren Harding's immediate family remained in Ohio, but other branches moved to Michigan, according to Mrs. Stewart, who said those are the Hardings from whom she is descended.

"My mother talks about Warren Harding coming to a cousin's funeral in Michigan," Mrs. Stewart said. "When he drove in everybody sort of knew who he was. He attended the funeral, and he left."

She said she has been contacted by Warren Harding's grandchildren and great-grandchildren several times. "They tell me they've heard rumors that they have black blood."

While Warren Harding never really denied he may have had black ancestors, he never declared himself black.

When asked why she believes her cousin never did so, Mrs. Stewart said, "Because we live in America. To be a true American, [you can't be] black even though we've been here for centuries. That's just the truth."

Ricky Bell, first photo, was the younger brother of recording artist Archie Bell, second photo (center). He was a former football player who played running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Diego Chargers from 1977 to 1982. Bell played football collegiately at USC.

Bell held the single-game rushing record of 347 yards, set against Washington State University in 1976 as a USC Trojan. He led the nation in rushing as a junior in 1975 with 1,875 yards. Bell was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy as a senior in 1976 to Tony Dorsett after finishing third in the voting in 1975 as a junior.

Ricky Bell was quoted as saying, "My mother always taught me to help others." In his spare time, Bell organized food drives and car washes to help the less fortunate. He also befriended handicapped kids and often gave them tickets to the game and he donated money to numerous charities.

In the early 80's, Bell was diagnosed with a fatal illness which caused fatigue. Despite the diagnosis, Bell continued to host various charities to aid others until he became bedridden.

Sadly, in 1984, Ricky Bell died of heart failure caused by dermatomyositis, he was 29.

A young man by the name of Timothy Lee was African American and gay at a time when it was deadly to be just one or the other (let alone BOTH!) in Concord, CA. (a conservative county in Northern California) in the early 90's.

His body was found hanging at a Concord Bart station under very mysterious circumstances.
An even more strange twist to this story occurred a year later when an African American female investigative reporter trying to uncover the case was also found 'suicided' at the same Concord Bart station. The two deaths were covered up despite local outrage.

The coverup continues, not one mention of this case is in the google search engine.

Melody K. Hoffman from "Jet Magazine," recently did a fascinating article on Elon Bomani (above), titled: "How A Homeless Single Mother Became A Millionaire In 18 Months." Here are excerpts from the article.

After a separation from her husband, Elon Bomani and her newborn son moved into a women's shelter. She says, "I found myself homeless because I had given up my power. I bought into the idea that men were better at math than women even though I had graduated with two degrees. I was programmed that men are supposed to be the providers and handle the checkbooks."

"I went to the library and punched in millionaire and I read every single book on biographies of millionaires, anything dealing with money, stocks, bonds, real estate, commodities trading, e-business, taxes, you name it."

Bomani's first priority was to leave the shelter and move into her own home. Though she had $36 dollars in her checking account, she knew her dream could come true. With the advice of her father, she studied real estate guru Carleton Sheets' "no money down programs." She found a lender that would finance 100 percent of her home loan. She asked the seller to pay closing costs on the $125,000 home and walked away from the closing with a $625 dollar check. Without a job, Bomani says, this was just the beginning of her journey.

"I thought creatively. I rented out my room. By renting out one of my rooms, that gave me half the mortgage, the other half was her (roommate) deposit. "I didn't have to pay my first mortgage until a month and a half later.

With a new wealth consciousness, she recognized the housing market was profitable at the time and then took equity out of her home to invest in other properties. "I did speculative real estate investing. I went to new developments and put a down payment on property to hold it until it closed. The property closed within a year and it had already increased in excess of $100,000. So I invested approximately $20,000 ($5,000 on four properties) using cash advances from credit cards, not even my money. I walked out of the deal with $400,000."

"I accumulated over 16 pieces of real estate property over the course of three years. In doing so, that gave me a net worth of $2 million dollars and I was able to live off the positive cash flow of the real estate.

"Being a millionaire, it's a formula to it. If you study it and practice it, you'll become it."

Today, Bomani owns and operates four companies and has a book out, titled: "Dynamic Diva Dollars."

In the later 1870's, after robbing a series of banks, brothers Jesse and Frank James were riding their horses in a pounding storm and they came across a small shack in the Ozarks.

They noticed the lights were on. They decided to rest their horses and knock on the door. An elderly lady answered and ushered them in. She took their wet jackets, lit a fire and put a pot of stew on the stove.

Frank told Jesse, "She reminds me of momma."

During dinner, the lady told the brothers that she was a recent widow and she was in debt and the bank was going to foreclose on her home the following day unless she came up with $800.

The boys listened and told her everything would work out. They thanked her for the meal and she insisted they stay the night.

The next morning when she awoke, she discovered the brothers were gone but they left a note on her kitchen table with money. The note read: "Ma'am, here is $800, pay the banker but "make sure to get a receipt."

She was thrilled. When the banker arrived, she gave him the money and at the last minute she remembered to ask him for a receipt.

On his way back to town, the James brothers ambushed the banker and robbed him of the $800.

Without a doubt, Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU) is the best actress on television. We all know her mother was blonde bombshell Jayne Mansfield (center) and her dad was bodybuilder Mickey Hargitay (center).

At 3 years old, Mariska was sitting in the back seat of a car when her mother was decapitated in a horrific car crash. She and her brothers escaped with minor cuts and bruises.

She never got to know her mother but I'm sure her mom would be very proud of her.

What few people know is Jayne Mansfield had a genius IQ and the dumb blonde act was just an act.

In early 2000, Mariska revealed to TV Guide that she had a crush on Robert DeNiro but the crush was from afar since DeNiro only dates black.

Mariska is now happily married since 2004, to her husband, Peter Hermann, an actor.

Whoopi Goldberg purchased the rights to the book, "Destined To Witness: Growing Up Black In Nazi Germany," in 2001, based on the memoirs of former EBONY Magazine Managing Editor Hans J. Massaquoi.

"It's a story that needs to be told," Goldberg told the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper. "People don't realize that during the course of the '30s and '40s in Germany, there were a lot of Black people trying to survive and not making it."

The son of an African diplomat and a White German nurse, Massaquoi details the plight and prejudice faced by Blacks at the hands of the Nazis. Like all non-Aryans, he was dehumanized and devalued by the Nazis. His skin color made him an especially easy target in the Holocaust era.

The compelling novel marks the first time in literature that the experiences and ultimate survival of a Black youth growing up in Nazi Germany have been chronicled.

Rumors persist that Goldberg is finally on the verge of securing financing to start production on the film.

The only triple hall of famer is Robert "Cal Hubbard," of Keytesville, Missouri. He was elected to the College Hall Of Fame for being an outstanding college linebacker. He was later inducted in the NFL Hall Of Fame (Greenbay linebacker) and he was also inducted into the Professional baseball Hall Of Fame (Baseball Umpire).

Not since the late Basquiat (black artist) has another black artist created such a stir in the art world. Stephen Wiltshire (above) can scan a scene for only moments ant then draw it from memory in virtually photographic detail. He's considered an awesome talent on the art scene and many people can't believe Wiltshire is autistic.

Wiltshire 34, has had art lovers ogling in awe of his complex cityscapes like the Las Vegas strip, Times Square and the Empire State Building.

He was diagnosed with autism at 3. Teachers encouraged him to draw as therapy which led him to talk at age 9. At age 10, he set the art world on fire by drawing a series of 26 London landmarks, one of each letter of the alphabet. Recently art lovers flocked to a one-man retrospective of his works.

The Queen of England was so impressed by Stephen's work that she bestowed him a membership of the Order of the British Empire.

According to William Hart, lead singer of the original Delfonics (center), he got the inspiration to write their 1968 hit "La La La Means I Love You," from his young son.  Each morning his son would wake up and say La La La.  Hart put the words to paper and came up with the biggest song of the Delfonics career.

Christopher Bernau's most famous role, was that of villain Alan Spaulding on the soap opera "Guiding Light," a role he played from 1977 to 1984 and again from 1986 until shortly before his death in 1989.

Though his famous character was portrayed as a habitual womanizer, Bernau is considered to be one of the only truly "out" soap opera actors, as it was fairly well known by both the actors he worked with, and the soap press at large, that he was gay.

Bernau was diagnosed with AIDS but continued to work on Guiding Light. He left the show when he became too ill to show up at work, and he died of a heart attack brought on by complications from AIDS.

Joseph Breen (born July 5, 1958) was an soap opera actor. He was born in Katonah, New York.

He played contract parts on both "Guiding Light," and "Loving," before being offered his most front-burner role to date: that of Lisa’s long-lost son, Scott Eldridge, on As the World Turns. He started on "As the World Turns," in 1991, while he was still making appearances as another character on Loving.

In 1993, the sponsor of the show, Procter & Gamble, was very unhappy when word leaked to the tabloids (most notably the National Enquirer) that Breen had AIDS. He was forced to tell his castmates that the rumors were true.

The set rumors were that P&G wanted Breen to voluntarily leave the show, and when he wouldn’t, he was forced to tape many scenes in which he was scantily clad. Reportedly, taping the scenes made him uncomfortable as both his muscle and body fat had already begun the process of atrophy, and it was at this time that he left.

While he is still living, he has chosen to keep a lower profile as of late.

In the 1950's, Monte Carlo was not well known outside of Europe. Prince Rainier wanted to put Monte Carlo on the map as an international jet set destination for the rich and famous.

It was suggested that he marry an American actress, this would bring worldwide fame to Monte Carlo.

Marilyn Monroe was approached. When Marilyn was asked, could she adjust to being married to a Prince? She allegedly responded, "Darling, I can handle any man."

Needless to say, her comment was deemed a bit too racy for a future first lady.

Prince Rainier would eventually marry actress Grace Kelly in 1956.

This marriage put Monte Carlo on the map. Shortly after the marriage, tourism increased tenfold.

Steve Wynn is credited with revitalizing Las Vegas with his following creations: "Wynn Las Vegas," "The Bellagio," "The Mirage," and "Treasure Island."

Wynn also owns the $60 million dollar "Shadow Creek," golf course, which many consider the best golf course in the world.

His daughter Kevyn was kidnapped in 1993. The developer paid $1.45 million in ransom for her safe return, but the kidnappers were apprehended when one attempted to buy a Ferrari in Newport Beach, California, with cash. This story was obliquely referenced in the year 2001's "Ocean's Eleven," and directly referenced in an episode of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." Both kidnappers are currently serving a 25 year sentence.

What makes this case unusual, when one of the kidnappers made a ransom call, it was assumed that he was black because people close to the investigation said his voice sounded black.

Even after the kidnappers were apprehended, despite the evidence, some people openly wondered if they had the right men because both men were white.

The evidence confirmed, they had the right men.

When Grace Jones arrived in New York to model, few people know that her roommate was model Jerry Hall who would later become Mrs. Mick Jagger before they divorced.  Also, it's always been rumored that years ago, Grace did a very provocative girl-girl layout for Hustler magazine.

Actress Jeri Ryan (one of my favorite TV actresses who appears on Shark) had accused former husband Jack Ryan of asking her to perform sexual acts with him in public, and in adult clubs in New York, New Orleans, and Paris. Jeri described one as "a bizarre club with cages, whips and other apparatus hanging from the ceiling." Jack Ryan denied these allegations. Although Jeri Ryan refused to comment on the matter during Jack's senatorial campaign, the document disclosure led Jack Ryan to withdraw his Republican candidacy for an open United States Senate seat in Illinois which was eventually won by Barack Obama.

The Stigmata is defined as the wounds Christ suffered on the cross. Reported cases of stigmata take various forms. Many show some or all of the five Holy Wounds that were, according to the Bible, inflicted on Jesus during his crucifixion: wounds in the hands and feet, from nails, and in the side, from a lance. Some stigmatic's display wounds to the forehead similar to those caused by the crown of thorns. Other reported forms include tears of blood or sweating blood, wounds to the back as from scourging, or wounds to the shoulder as from bearing the cross.

Many people have claimed over the years to be stigmatic's but the majority of them were proven to be frauds with the exception of an African-American girl who lived in Chicago in the 70's.

Each Easter she would develop unexplainable wounds on her hands, feet and at the top of her head. The wounds were square in shape and the blood seeping from the wounds was a different blood type than the blood in her body. After Easter, the wounds would disappear as mysteriously as they appeared.

The first written record of a woman to have received stigmata is in the Medieval Codex Iuliacensis, ca. 1320-1350, reporting the stigmata of Blessed Christina von Stommeln (died 1312), whose relics rest in the Propsteikirche in Jülich, near Aachen, or Georgetta von Schnitenburgs. It is claimed that one can still see marks from the crown of thorns on Christina of Stommeln's skull, which is publicly displayed annually during the octave beginning 6 November in Jülich.

*An African-American stigmatic character will be introduced in Myra Panache's short story, "Ballin 7." This story will be featured in the upcoming, "Book 2."

"Laguna Beach," and "The Hills," reality show star Jason Wahler (actor) is being sued by a tow-truck driver he allegedly called the "n-word" along with an assortment of homophobic slurs during a verbal tirade and assault back in 2006. The driver, Jonathan Wallace filed legal papers in LA Superior Court on August 17, claiming that Wahler, 20, started "thrusting his chest...while unleashing a verbal barrage of racial statements and swearing profusely" during the September 2006 incident. The tow-truck driver is seeking $200,000 in damages, and says that Wahler punched him in his left eye, and repeatedly punched another tow-truck driver in the face while allegedly yelling the N-word. Back in March of 2007, the Laguna Beach star admitted battery, and was sentenced to 60 days in the clinker. He was also ordered to attend anger management classes and AA meetings. In May of 2007, he had a similar alcohol fueled incident, this time he directed his racial slurs towards cops. Allegedly, hate groups are trying to get in touch with Wahler.

In 1986, Sharon Lund's (above) world was turned upside-down, when she discovered she had been exposed to the AIDS virus during a brief marriage to her second husband, Lund discovered the news in a manner as cruel as it was incredible.

Her parents had given her a videotape of a CBS-TV special about AIDS because Lund had been working as a counselor to HIV-infected patients, teaching them relaxation techniques to combat the virus. They thought their daughter might find the segment interesting. But within minutes her interest turned to horror.

Lund recognized one of the people with AIDS as her ex-husband, whom she identifies only as Bill. Her parents had met Bill only once and did not recognize him. Lund phoned him in a rage. Bill denied that he was on the tape and that he had AIDS. Lund got tested anyway; the results were followed by intense anger. She told only her sister, boyfriend and minister that she had HIV. "Back then I just didn't know there were any other women," she says. "I felt so alone."

A week before he died in 1989, Bill finally admitted to her that he had AIDS. Lund says her ex-husband never considered himself bisexual or at risk for the disease, even though he had unprotected sex with other men. He also infected his first wife. She, too, has died.

Apparently it's well known in South America and law enforcement circles that late billionaire kingpin Pablo Escobar preferred underage girls but this information didn't receive a lot of press coverage.

In March 1976, Pablo married Maria Victoria when she was 15 years old. Together they had two children: Juan Pablo and Manuela. Escobar was known to have affairs and mostly preferred underage girls, exclusively between the ages of 15 and 17, according to sources.

Vanna White and her ex-husband George Santo Pietro have interesting histories.  When George was younger, wealthy women pursued him in Italy.  Before Wheel Of Fortune, Vanna was linked to wealthy men in Las Vegas.

George once operated a fancy restaurant in Beverly Hills and he dated actress Linda Evans for a brief moment.  George also tooled around town in a Rolls Royce.

When George and Vanna married, she was generating $12 million per year from Wheel Of Fortune.  The couple had lucrative investments, including a private jet leasing company where the majority of their clients were wealthy people who leased jets for the weekend, for shopping sprees in Europe and weekend trips to Switzerland.

After the couple divorced, George became a rich real estate developer, developing $50 million dollar mansions.

We are receiving unconfirmed reports that rapper Mia X (formerly of No Limit Records) is down on her luck and is allegedly working at a Detroit casino. We will investigate further regarding these allegations.

According to the New York Daily News (in 2000), Rosie Perez's biological mom, Lydia Perez has suffered from AIDS for six years. The newspaper quoted an unidentified nurse as saying the actress last visited her mother on New Year's Day and quoted Lydia Perez as saying her daughter's last visit before that was "a couple of years ago." Perez responded by issuing a statement, reading: "While it is accurate to say she is not the woman who raised me and we are somewhat estranged, I have always wished for her the best of health and continue to offer my support in that regard." She continues, "As a strong AIDS activist, I have pleaded with my mother to accept my assistance through whatever connections I may have within the AIDS community; she has refused it. I have also offered her financial assistance, which was accepted." Backstory: According to Hollywood.com, Lydia Perez married Ventura Perez at age 14; and allegedly suffered from mental illness; she had a total of 10 children; after her husband's death, she lived with a man who was a heroin addict who fathered her two youngest children. Lydia Perez would eventually succumb to AIDS.

Jack Unterweger was born to a Viennese prostitute and an unknown American soldier, Unterweger grew up in poverty with his abusive, alcoholic grandfather in a one-room cabin. He was in and out of prison several times during his youth for assaulting local prostitutes. He murdered 18-year-old German Margaret Schäfer in 1976 by strangling her with her own bra, and was sentenced to life in prison.

While in prison, Unterweger became an author of short stories, poems, plays, and an autobiography, "Fegefeuer – eine Reise ins Zuchthaus." He developed a cult following and charmed the literary world. He was released on May 23, 1990, after only 14 years of his life term.

Law enforcement later found out that despite Unterweger's apparent reform while in prison, he had, however, killed six prostitutes in Austria in the first year after his release.

In 1991, Unterweger was hired by an Austrian magazine to write about crime in Los Angeles, California, and the differences between U.S. and European attitudes to prostitution. Unterweger met with local police, even going so far as to accompany the police on their patrols of the city's red light districts and 'his crime scenes.' During Unterweger's time in Los Angeles, three prostitutes — Shannon Exley, Irene Rodriguez, and Sherri Ann Long — were beaten, sexually assaulted with tree branches, and strangled with their own brassieres.

Law enforcement eventually had enough evidence for his arrest, but Unterweger was gone by the time they entered his home. After law enforcement chased him through Europe, Canada and the U.S., he was finally arrested by the FBI in Miami, Florida, on February 27, 1992.

Back in Austria, Unterweger was charged with 11 homicides, one of which occurred in Prague, Czech Republic, during the time he was visiting and was identical to the murders of the other prostitutes. The jury found him guilty of nine murders. On June 29, 1994 Unterweger was sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole. That night, he took his own life by hanging himself with a rope made from shoelaces and a cord from the trousers of a track suit.

We reported last week that a 'kingpin banger' was allegedly trying to extort $100,000 from Nelly who wanted to film a movie in his territory. Now, we're being informed that this same banger is suspected of jacking several NBA players. In an unusual move, NBA security allegedly circulated his picture among NBA players.

The lyrics of "Pop Life," allegedly refer to cocaine abuse Prince wrote about after seeing some of his friends, including Morris and Vanity, fall victim to the drug. Also, when Vanity decided to quit the film "Purple Rain," her relationship with Prince had turned into an intense love-hate affair, with fierce arguments followed by passionate makeups. If previous girlfriends had been patient and willing to accept that they didn't have Prince's undivided attention, Vanity wanted total commitment and would not tolerate affairs on the side. "Prince always had many women at the same time, and I'm simply too old-fashioned for that. I need a man entirely to myself. My relationship with Prince was too beautiful, too intense and yet also too ugly. We wore each other out. Our chemistry was explosive and it just couldn't go on like that." Vanity had started using cocaine and she said that it was the drug that made her feel confident enough to stand up to Prince and argue over her role in the film before she walked off the set for good. Patrick Graber (Kobe’s former bodyguard) continues to make explosive allegations in his book, “Dead Women Tell No Tales.” According to Graber: When Kobe Bryant first arrived in L.A., a relative was his legal guardian. Graber says, “Frequent orgies took place at their home and others (not Kobe) indulged in drugs.” Graber adds, “A big time neighborhood baller supplied willing girls for Bryant to have sex with, and this same guy was also known for supplying chronic and powder to the rich and famous.”

Before Teruko Nakagami became Billy Dee Williams' third wife in 1970, her divorce with jazz saxophonist Wayne Shorter had just become final. After 23 years of marriage, Williams and Nakagami would announce plans to divorce in 1993. In 1996, Williams would move in with his then girlfriend. He was arrested in L.A. after police received a call from her-accusing him of domestic battery. Williams was charged with cohabitational abuse and released on $50,000 bail. In 1997, Williams would reconcile with Teruko Nakagami.

Former drug kingpin Nicky Barnes is very vindictive, selfish and cold blooded. Despite the fact he flaunted an affair with his much younger girlfriend Shamecca. Barnes had the nerve to be very upset when his common-law wife Tee (first photo) left him because of the affair. She started dating a man named Tito.

Barnes became so enraged, he ratted her out to the authorities, sacrificing the care of his two daughters (Nicole and Ebony) in the process. Tee served a 10 year stint in prison and Nicole and Ebony were placed in foster care.

His mistress, (Shamecca) would later be murdered execution style by a mobster who was reportedly trying to impress late mob boss John Gotti.

Actress Merle Oberon, above, was an Academy Award nominated actress who appeared in several hit films with her most memorable being "Wuthering Heights." Oberon's father was British and her mother was East Indian.

During her time as a film star, Oberon went to great lengths to disguise her mixed-race (Indian) background and when her dark-skinned mother moved in with her, she masqueraded as Oberon's maid.

In 1929, she met a former actor who claimed he could introduce her to Rex Ingram of Victorine Studios. Merle jumped at the offer and decided to follow the man to the studios in France. However, when he saw Merle's dark mother one night at her apartment and realized Merle was mixed-race, he secretly decided to end the relationship. After packing all their belongings and moving to France, Merle and her mother found that their supposed benefactor had dodged them.

Despite this, Oberon still became successful and married a very rich man who did everything in his power to erase her past which indicated she was of mixed race.

Merle suffered even further damage to her complexion in 1940 from a combination of cosmetic poisoning and an allergic reaction to sulfa drugs (skin bleachers). She was sent to a skin specialist in New York City, where she underwent several dermabrasion procedures. The results, however, were only partially successful; without makeup, one could see noticeable pitting and indentation of her skin.

Her mother died in 1937, and in 1949 Oberon commissioned paintings of her mother from an old photograph, instructing the artist to lighten her mother's complexion. The paintings would hang in all her homes until her death in 1979.

Actress Jennifer Beals was born in Chicago, Illinois to Alfred Beals, who owned a grocery store, and Jeanne, an elementary school teacher. Her father was African-American and her mother was Irish. According to Hollywood rumor, after the success of "Flashdance," Beals was the new 'it' girl in town until a Hollywood executive was informed that she was bi-racial. This is an unsubstantiated rumor but Beals' career did come to an abrupt halt after "Flashdance." Beals has never discussed her ethnicity publicly.

Before the film "Purple Rain," was released, it was revealed that Prince was half-Italian. In the movie, based on his life, he even went so far as to hire a white actress to portray his mother. In real life, Prince's mother (Mattie) is black, as well as his father (John). Prince also has a fully black sister named Tyka, a half-sister named Sharon and two stepbrothers who he has never discussed publicly.

Tai Babilonia was the first figure skater of partial African-American descent to win U.S. and World titles. She is also part Filipino via her paternal family and part Native American. In the late 70's and early 80's, however, her mixed ethnic ancestry was rarely discussed by the media and it remained hidden until the late 80's.

Actor Vin Diesel has always refused to reveal his ethnicity and has never admitted to having black blood. Allegedly, he is half-black and half-Italian but you didn't hear it from Diesel.

Yesterday, it was reported that Oprah Winfrey has been accused of employing dirty tactics in an attempt to prevent her company Harpo Productions from becoming the subject of a revealing expose, according to reports. Keifer Bonvillain - who calls himself a "civil-rights activist" - is courting a number of publishers to get backing for his book "Ruthless," and has launched a website to attract potential investors. Bonvillain, 37, was arrested and charged with federal extortion last year (06) after trying to sell Winfrey audio tapes of a prominent Harpo employee.

All billionaires have "fixers" on their payroll-who have to be available on a 24/7 basis. As we reported before: Fixers usually have an intelligence, federal law enforcement or military background and are usually employed by the rich and famous. Their mission: To make scandals disappear.

If former CIA/FBI agent Bob Maheu (first photo) wasn't retired, it's a possibility he would be on Oprah's payroll. Maheu is known as the "billionaire" fixer who was employed by billionaires Howard Hughes and Aristotle Onassis. Despite working for Hughes, Maheu never met him. They did all of their business over the phone. With the invention of the internet and other electronic gadgets, your fixer can sometimes be a voice on the phone or a person on the other end of your computer. After their assignment is completed, a large amount of money is wired into domestic or offshore accounts.

There are an assortment of fixers in the world but "billionaire" fixers are the cream of the crop.

These men and women can obtain anything. Records that are confidential to the public can be obtained within 24 hours by top notch fixers. It's nothing they can't do and there is no data they can't obtain whether it's domestic or international. After the data is obtained, it's usually delivered by private courier.

Even fictional female casino magnate Lucky Santangelo (created by Jackie Collins) had a fixer on her staff named Bogey.

These A-list fixers are in the same category as a "3-Charley Operative." A 3-Charley is a rare term used for a military man who is well versed in every conceivable special ops/black ops category known to mankind, regardless of military branch. 3-Charley's are also excellent hand-to-hand combat operatives and they can terminate without leaving a mark. Their marksmanship skills are also extraordinary and they are sometimes referred to as "sweepers." They also have the capability of breaking someone's neck with one hand. Less than a dozen have existed at any one time.

Let's not forget, Oprah Winfrey is a very powerful woman and this impending scandal will be shut down like her father's tell-all book. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if J-Lo also employed a fixer to shut down her ex-husband's tell-all.

Howard Strickling:

When Howard Strickling (third photo) ruled MGM's publicity machine (as a CIA-like studio fixer) during Hollywood's golden age, he liked to boast about the lurid stories he managed to kill.

Because of Strickling, the top stars of that era could kill, pillage and rape, and their misdeeds would still go unreported because Strickling was just that powerful.

According to Strickling, actor Clark Gable ran someone over in his sports car. Strickling covered it up and this story never appeared in gossip columns.

We are receiving reports from old school sources that a particular striking young lady who used to hang out with Solar recording artists did a bid in Rikers for drugs.

This young lady was a big time groupie back in the day and considered one of the prettiest black women in Hollywood. Not only did she date singers but she also dated several of the LA Lakers. At one time, she was the most sought out groupie in Hollywood. And, she dated several moguls.

She also danced on Soul Train.

Now, she is an unrecognizable crackhead turning tricks to buy rocks. Her once beautiful hair is matted to her head and what teeth she has left are rotted.

Allegedly, she has a few kids, she doesn't know who their father's are. Due to her addiction and prostitution, her kids are now in foster care.

We were unable to obtain before/after photos of her but we are still digging. Stay tuned.

Theories and rumors are circulating that NFL player Sean Taylor (Washington Redskins) may have been the victim of a contract killing.

If so, the murder was not done be an efficient 'wet work' mechanic (assassin) because a professional killer does not shoot at a target's leg artery, instead, they operate under the motto 'one shot-one kill,' meaning, a lethal shot to the head.

Also, a pro would not have made any noise. They are silent, similar to a ninja and female assassins have been known to take off their high heels to creep up on a target silently in their stocking feet.

And, a professional killer would not have left witnesses alive. Immediately after the murder, a pro would have fallen "off the grid and gone dark," until the case died down.

Since Taylor was allegedly shot near the groin, if this shot was intentional and not random, you may be looking for a female shooter because this is considered a "personal shot."

The suspect may have also been a hired "street killer," who lacked wet work mechanical skills.

Several news agencies are bringing up Taylor's illegal past, this shouldn't have anything to do with his murder. This man was killed in the comfort of his home by an intruder, that should be the focus of the investigation.

Rumors are already circulating that some authorities have the attitude, "you live by the sword, you die by the sword, shit happens."

And if the case isn't solved, they can always fall back on the built-in excuse "no snitching prevented us from solving this case."

RIP Sean Taylor.

Few people know that Unabomber Ted Kaczynski got on a list to have a "sex change," operation when he was a graduate student at the University Of Michigan.

During a prison interview, Kaczynski admitted that during that time he had started having fantasies of becoming a woman.

During a mandatory psych examination prior to the operation, Kaczynski abruptly changed his mind and told the doctor he had made a mistake.

In the 1970's, a young lady who was a former Miss Black America winner went out on several dates with a young man. For reasons unknown, she decided to break off the relationship. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting. Her former boyfriend knew she had a love for art. One day he called and they had a brief civil conversation, before hanging up, she informed him that she was flying to her hometown in a couple of days to see her family. The day of her flight, he showed up unannounced at her apartment and presented her with a painting by her favorite artist. Since her mother was also a art lover, he suggested that she not unwrap it until she reach her destination.

When she arrived at the airport, she decided to take the small painting onboard as a carry on. Suddenly, customs agents surrounded her. They escorted her to a room and told her that they had received a tip that she was trying to smuggle heroin.

She looked at them in stunned disbelief, as they searched her luggage-when they unwrapped the painting, they found several packets of black tar heroin.

Her ex-boyfriend had set her up.

Her family hired one of the best defense attorney's in the country and she was acquitted but charges were never brought against the boyfriend.

We based this true story on a story we have on the site, titled "Framed."

Why is Ginuwine performing at Bachelorette parties? Isn't he still receiving songwriting royalties off the Aaliyah tribute song he co-wrote "Miss You." And, I would think he would be making money from the "TGT" project, although they did a far from sold out show in Oakland recently. This group also has a reputation for charging way too much per performance. This is the reason why-numerous promoters won't book them.

Regarding his career, Ginuwine can't seem to catch the breaks. With his looks and moves, he should be in the same category as Usher and Chris Brown but due to bad management and Ginuwine's reluctance to hire a publicist, he suffered the consequences despite once having a powerhouse producer, Timbaland, at the helm.

Few people know, that Ginuwine was scheduled to play the Marques Houston role in the film "You Got Served," but Houston snagged the role away due to his close friendship with Omarion.

Jerry Heller makes the following allegations in his book, "Ruthless."

"Will 1X, aka William Adams, grew up in South Central and shared a lot of the same turf as Eazy-E but their philosophies couldn't have been more different. Will connected to the peace and love tradition of the sixties."

When Will 1X came to "Ruthless," with a music video that he had done. It looked fantastic. Since Eazy was enthusiastic about the project, I bought the video for $5,000 dollars. Will soon started working on his album but it never seemed to get finished. It eventually entered the black hole that a lot of recording projects fall into."

"He ain't never going to finish that record," Eazy told me after working with Will for a year.

"We got to cut him and his group loose and let them go somewhere else." So we did.

Will changed his name to Will I. AM. and his band's name to the "Black Eyed Peas," and the rest is history.

I knew a gay fashion designer named Antonios, he was 12 years my senior. He was extremely classy, well dressed and cultured. He looked like a young Billy Dee Williams and he was gay. He also had the skills of a professional dancer and loved to wear tailored zoot suits and fedora's when he went out to clubs.

He had relocated to San Francisco from New Orleans because SF was more gay friendly. He use to marvel me with stories about New Orleans, The French Quarter and Bourbon Street.

And, he talked about the food. I promised myself, 'one day I will experience New Orleans.'

One story Antonios related to me, still stands out.

When he was in New Orleans, he had a best gay friend named Cornelius. He showed me photos of him. The pictures were taken in a nightclub and you could see how limber Cornelius was in the pictures. He was on the dance floor, with one leg partially wrapped around his neck. He was very flexible.

According to Antonios, Cornelius was a very colorful character who liked to dress in tuxedo tails when he wasn't adorned in drag. He would then go to a ballroom and out dance the trained dancers with his spins, 12 o'clock kicks and splits. He was a sight to behold.

One day, Cornelius was called at home and offered a job. He had applied for this job a few weeks earlier. He was ecstatic.

Despite dressing down for his new job, you could still tell he was gay. One co-worker started harassing him on a daily basis. He even harassed him with racial taunts.

Cornelius complained but nothing was done about it. Instead, he was considered a troublemaker for complaining.

The harassment got so out of control that Cornelius started to receive threatening calls at his house. He was no longer the happy go lucky guy. He became depressed, snapped at people and always seemed to be on edge and then one day he just snapped.

He walked into work, within minutes, the co-worker started in on him. Cornelius went inside his long jacket and pulled out a ax and then proceeded to decapitate the guys arm.

The guy screamed as the blood poured out. The cops were called and Cornelius was arrested. The victim survived.

Antonios became worried because he lost touch with Cornelius when he went to prison. It's as if he disappeared without explanation within the system.

He didn't know whether he committed suicide or was killed. When he tried to contact Cornelius' family, they were less than helpful because they had disowned him earlier due to his lifestyle.

He disappeared without a trace and was never heard from again.

Despite Johnny Carson not accepting his bi-racial granddaughter and despite racism rumors, allegations have always persisted concerning Johnny Carson and Black women. We published an excerpt from Rick James book, "Confessions Of A Super Freak," where Rick revealed that Carson was romancing his Black female friend on the sly.

Back in the mid to late 70's, rumors were circulating that Carson had two Black mistresses in Las Vegas. One was a former beauty queen and a one hit wonder. She was allegedly juggling Carson and NFL player Jack Tatum. Allegedly, she considered Carson her "money man/sugar daddy," and he allegedly provided her with a house, Mercedes and a generous allowance.

NBC said I was going to be a star witness against the Mafia in court, so the FBI handed me a bulletproof vest and said, "Call us if anything happens."

Newton added, "My life became a living hell after that. I was forced to wear the bulletproof vest and was so terrified that I began throwing up blood and had to seek medical help."

In the mid 90's, a 50-year-old gastroenterologist in Lafayette, Louisiana has been given the maximum penalty - 50 years of hard labor - for attempted second-degree murder after he was convicted of injecting his ex-lover with AIDS-infected blood. The doctor, who when told by his lover that she was ending their 10-year relationship, entered her darkened apartment in August 1994 and injected her with the tainted blood, which he claimed was a vitamin shot. The woman learned in January 1995 that she had become HIV-infected. The victim did not know whose tainted blood it was nor did she realize she had been injected with blood until she became sick with viral infections months later. Records showed that the physician had indeed drawn blood from an HIV+ patient on the day she was injected.

Campanella II was also a successful director who directed episodes of Boston Public, Beverly Hills 90210, Bay Watch, Diagnosis Murder and several BET movies. In 2004, he was hired as the General Manager of radio station KPFA in Berkeley.

He was on the job for a little more than half a year and was blamed for ignoring allegations of harassment. He’s even accused of harassing and demeaning women at the station and attempting to intimidate those who would report the abuse, charges he denies.

According to employee Solange Echeverria, ". . . Dennis Bernstein (on-air) above, being handcuffed-has been allowed for years to run unchecked with his abusive behavior towards former and current producers, programmers, volunteers, with absolutely no consequences whatsoever. When I approached Mr. Bernstein – I was met with the vilest of screams, curses and out of control behavior.

"When I reported this to Roy Campanella II., KPFA general manager, I was told under no uncertain terms that . . . nothing could be done about Dennis Bernstein because — and these are Mr. Campanella's direct comments – He (Dennis) brings in the money, and therefore "Creative Personalities" like his need to be put up with. He then told me that I should just go look for another job.

Campanella made it clear he was not going to take any effective action, telling Echeverría not to come back for three weeks because it would make Bernstein uncomfortable! With no other recourse, Solange left her job at KPFA, becoming just the most recent of a long line of women producers to be forced out.

Following this incident, another woman, Noelle Hanrahan (3 time Golden Reel Award winner) filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Dennis Bernstein. On November 20, 2001, Bernstein verbally attacked Hanrahan on the air, informing listeners she had made false allegations against him and was trying to take over the radio program, encouraging listeners to call KPFA and call for her dismissal. But while women who complain of harassment and abuse by Bernstein are fired or forced out the alleged behavior of Dennis Bernstein was tolerated.

Roy Campanella, II, nor Dennis Bernstein-no longer work for KPFA radio.

Tupac's godparents are both internationally known and infamous.

Elmer "Geronimo" Pratt (born September 13, 1947), also known as Geronimo ji-Jaga, is a former high ranking member of the Black Panther Party. Pratt was tried and convicted of the kidnap and murder of Caroline Olsen in 1972, and spent 27 years in prison, eight of which were in solitary confinement. Pratt was freed in 1997 when his conviction was vacated. He currently works as a human rights activist. Pratt is also notable as the godfather of the late rapper Tupac Shakur.

Assata Shakur, formerly Joanne Chesimard is Tupac's non-biological godmother. Assata was convicted in 1977 of 7 felonies in relation to the 1973 slaying of a New Jersey State trooper and fellow activist. Assata had to be extremely connected (with high powered help) to escape prison in 1979 after being convicted of killing a white law enforcement officer. This is unheard of, especially in the 70's which was an era of racial unrest.

Assata has been living in Cuba with political asylum since 1984.

Early Years:

Alice Fay Williams aka Afeni Shakur was married to Lumumba Abdul Shakur when she allegedly became pregnant by Black Panther-Bill Garland which led to Shakur divorcing her according to author James Robert Parish. Soon after Tupac's birth, Garland and Afeni split.

Afeni then became involved with Mutula Shakur, another Black Panther. Meanwhile, as a result of being accused of participating in a 1971 Brinks truck robbery (in which three victims perished), Mutula went underground. He was captured in 1986 and sentenced to 60 years behind bars.

During this time, Afeni and her children often stayed in homeless shelters or with relatives and friends. By 1983, Afeni had a new boyfriend known as "Legs," a longtime lawbreaker who allegedly introduced her to crack. Before long, Legs was jailed for credit card fraud, where he died of a drug-induced heart attack.

Reportedly, Tupac was strongly affected by Leg's removal from the family.

It's rumored that Omarosa was paid a staggering $100,000 dollars to appear on "The Apprentice," this season. A soap opera casting agent needs to hire her as a villaness because she's the woman America loves to hate.

Parts of Canada used to be black friendly but we are receiving reports that certain parts of Canada can be very racist which allegedly generated from several rap concerts that turned into brawls.

Throughout the years, I have heard that Copenhagen, Denmark is extremely black friendly. African-American culture and jazz is embraced and blacks are treated with the utmost respect.

In the 60's and 70's, numerous black jazz artists were treated so well that they relocated to Copenhagen.

Instead of idolizing rappers and professional athletes, black kids should be idolizing actor Hill Harper (CSI: NY). Harper has a law degree from Harvard and he graduated magna cum laude from Brown University. Harper was born in Iowa City, Iowa to Henry Harper, a psychiatrist, and Marilyn Hill, who was one of the first practicing African-American anesthesiologists in the United States. Harper also authored "Letters To A Young Brother." This book should be mandatory reading in urban schools.

Harper is also a mentor to actor Voltaire Rico Sterling (above) who co-starred in "The Great Debaters." Sterling told Jet magazine, "I was so inspired by Harper's background as an actor and scholar that I introduced myself to him backstage on Broadway. "I told him I wanted to follow in his footsteps and go to Harvard law and he encouraged me." Sterling would graduate at the top of his class. Harper recently named Sterling chairman of the board of directors for his MANifest Your Destiny Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved youth.

In 2005, Hill Harper put his acting career on hold to locate employees at his two trendy New Orleans hotels-who had been missing since Hurricane Katrina. Harper reveals that most of his 83 New Orleans employees were safe, and he's determined to track everyone down. And the generous star continued to pay all his staff their full salary and benefits - even though his hotels remain closed following the storm. He says, "Ninety per cent of our employees lost everything. Without their salary, they'd have nothing." He explained, "We're going to portion off a part of the hotels where our staff can stay. "We also own two condos in town that we'll utilize." Harper also co-owns the "Loft" restaurant in Los Angeles.

Author Alexander Dumas (first photo) was of mixed race. His father was mulatto and his grandmother was African-American. Dumas was the the author of "The Three Musketeers," "The Count Of Monte Cristo," and "The Man In The Iron Mask."

Writing earned Dumas a great deal of money. He spent lavishly on a custom built estate and he had numerous girlfriends that he spoiled. He loved the high life and fathered four illegitimate children in his lifetime.

Despite his success and aristocratic connections, his being of mixed race would affect him throughout his life.

Billy Dee Williams has expressed an interest in portraying Dumas in a biopic but 'the powers that be,' in the French government allegedly don't want a black man portraying Dumas despite him being of mixed ethnicity.

With the exception of rap moguls and Kanye West, T.I., Ludacris, E-40 & Eminem, former rapper Roxanne Shante (above) and hip-hop star Paris (below) are two of the most financial savvy rappers in hip hop history.

At the age of 25, Shanté retired from the recording industry to become a psychologist. She continues to make occasional guest appearances and live performances, as well as mentor young female hip-hop artists. She also took part in a series of Sprite commercials during the late 1990s. She is married and has one son and one daughter. She earned a PhD in psychology from Cornell University—paid for by her record label via an unusual contract clause which indicated that her record company had to finance her education. Shante also has a psychology practice in Queens. She is a vegan and owns "Hip-Hop Ices," ice cream parlor in Queens. She continues to generate lucrative income from her practice, investments and businesses.
She will be portrayed by actress Keke Palmer in "The Vapors," a film about the formation and rise of the "Juice Crew."

Paris became a millionaire through stocks and bonds. He is known in hip-hop as a finance genius and several rappers have sought him out in the past for financial advice.

Before Kevin Federline, a black model allegedly attended a party at Britney Spears house in Hollywood. Late actor Heath Ledger was in attendance. According to the model, allegedly, drug usage was rapid throughout the party among celebrities and the bathrooms were coed. She allegedly saw Britney and Heath indulge in a variety of drugs that evening.

She contacted me because she was interested in selling this information to the tabloids. I put her in touch with a friend but she was informed that my friend was on vacation, she was then referred to another writer. An appointment was scheduled and she asked me to accompany her to the meeting.

After we arrived, it became blatantly obvious that the white reporter was put off by the fact that we were African-American. In her mind, 'how could we possibly have accurate mainstream white news.' During the course of the conversation, she couldn't seem to get past our ethnicity. She proceeded to disregard the information and decided not to run with the story.

This same tabloid reporter contacted me right after she received the news of Heath Ledger's death. She requested, very nicely, that I put her in touch with the model. All at once, she had an interest in the story and wanted to revive it.

Needless to say, she was politely shut down.

The Internet Is Killing Music Sales, Box Office & Newsstand (From Our PR Newsletter)

What do T.I., Jay-Z, R. Kelly, Diddy, Nas and 50 Cent have in common besides being superstars? All of their recent albums sold below expectations and some didn't even reach platinum status. The internet is putting a killing on artists and record labels as the digital age progresses. Due to digital download sites like i-tunes, albums have become obsolete. Illegal downloading also contributes to low record sales. Blank CD’s continue to outsell music CD’s and Country music has surpassed rap music is sales. In essence, Rap really is dead. Rappers like Queen Latifah, LL Cool J, and Tyrese were smart to diversify their talents and pursue acting careers. This will keep them financially afloat.

A few months ago, Def Jam laid off nearly 50 employees due to the sagging music industry and artists like Madonna have signed lucrative merchandise and distribution deals via the internet. These type of deals allow artists to bypass record labels and maintain more control. Other artists are expected to follow suit. It’s rumored that record labels are considering taking a percentage of cash generated by artists on tour to offset financial losses.

The music industry is not the only field affected by the internet. Currently, newsstand publications are suffering due to internet competition and only the strong will survive. Entertainment sites and blogs provide news in real time with constant updates throughout the day and the service is free, they make money on the backend in advertising. Whereas, newsstand news is considered dated and old by the time it hits the newsstands.

The show “Frontline,” predicts that newsstand publications with the exception of Time, O, People, & Newsweek and other magazines along those lines will be obsolete within the next five years.

The movie industry is also affected by the internet. DVD’s come out so quickly, why go to the theaters? Currently, an overseas site broadcasts new releases in their entirety. They also showcase films that have yet to be released as well as episodes from top TV shows, in their entirety.

Fred Otash (first photo) was the fixer of the 1960's. His clients included: Frank Sinatra, Errol Flynn, Frankie Avalon, Judy Garland, etc.

J. Edgar Hoover even hired him to obtain damaging evidence on John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe.

On July 11, 1960, a “high-priced Hollywood call girl” reports that Fred Otash asked her about “her participation in sex parties involving Senator John Kennedy, … Lawford, [and] Sinatra.” The next day, Otash “suggested that he would like to equip her with a recording device for taking down any ‘indiscrete statements' the Senator might make.” Otash once bugged the Presidential Suite and got audio tapes of Marilyn Monroe and John F. Kennedy having sex. Despite Otash's death in 1992, these tapes have yet to be be released to the public.

Otash was also called in to neutralize Lana Turner's mobster boyfriend Johnny Stompanato (center) when he flew overseas in a rage because he thought Lana was getting to close to her handsome co-star, Sean Connery. Otash had Stompanato deported by Scotland Yard.

Otash made life rough on gangsters like Stompanato. He especially didn't like Johnny Stompanato, one of Mickey Cohen's friends.

According to Otash: "I recall the time my partner and I took Stompanato up to the Hollywood Hills and beat him," Otash says.

"Then we stripped him and left him there after we put out a call there was a naked man running around."
Another time they drove by Stompanato's car on the Strip, pointed a shotgun at him and scared him so much that he almost drove off the road.

Lana's daughter Cheryl Crane (right) would end up stabbing Stompanato to death in an unrelated incident.
